This is an absolutely delightful example of the increasingly popular Citroen 2CV, in beautiful condition throughout and in what must surely be one of the prettiest colour combinations.
The car would appear to have been extensively refurbished shortly before the current owners purchased it in 2011, including the fitment of a galvanised chassis. This refurbishment was continued over the next few years to include a new fabric hood, new seats and door cards, electronic ignition and new headlamp reflectors, all carried out by a respected 2CV specialist who also undertook regular servicing and maintenance as required.
During this period of ownership the car was always garaged and only covered around 3000 miles between 2011 and 2018.
The current MOT runs until 28th March 2019 and has no advisories, the car is HPI clear and benefits from extremely low insurance costs.
This is a lovely car, which drives really well in that eccentric 2CV way, is very comfortable, and looks fantastic. It is far removed from the average "run of the mill" Deux Chevaux and will give a great deal of fun for many years to come, not to mention a return on investment !
