Quick and easy to start, and with no untoward smoke, the inline 4 makes a wonderful roar under load and is equally happy quietly idling. A perfect clutch and the delicate shift lever further reward the driver, while front disc brakes, a tight suspension with recent Koni shocks, and grippy Vredestein tires ensure a good time in the corners.
