What do we have here?
An extremely rare Peugeot 205 Gentry, finished in Aztec Gold with leather interior (Google the model by all means if not in the know)
The Gentry was the top of the range limited edition 205 using a detuned 1. 9 litre GTI engine with auto gearbox. Only 400 models were shipped to the UK in either Sorrento Green or as here in Aztec Gold (sometimes called Mayfair Beige) Much of the running gear was taken by Peugeot from the legendary 1. 6 GTI
Only 2 previous owners, one being a lady Peugeot Owners Club member, great sequential history file with 30 Stamps and paperwork in addition
Honest provenance and MOT to December (only 400 odd miles done since the MOT) with no advisories; new shocks, wheel bearings, tie rods in 2016 and last November just had circa £250 spent on brakes
125k on the clock verifiable from history and so averaging 5k a year; new cambelt at 100k and new catalytic converter at 121k together with exhaust box. Alloys just refurbished and colour coded as they were originally and they are fine structurally and well shod
Original bill of sale at an eye watering £13, 695. 01 on 28/ 9/ 92 (supplying dealer sticker still on back window & rear plate) Full leather, wood trim and power assisted steering. Same body side trims as the GTI. Remote central locking (2 fobs) 26 years ago was really going it some….
A great car to drive, very responsive and a lovely sound
These limited edition 205's are becomingly increasing hard to find in this condition and one for the French classic car collection.
Drivers’ seat bolster has some wear as pics and she would benefit from a period radio cassette but these factors do not detract from the cars’ inherent honest condition and gallic charm. Interior is a 90’s vision in beige with a light airy feel…. genuine Peugeot rubber mats too
Few stone chips and limited age related marks, all cosmetic and she presents extremely well
Usable classic that will only appreciate in value
Any inspection welcome and we will undertake a test drive on a dual carriageway and twisty roads too

Priced very reasonably, try and find a comparable one with low ownership and good history at anywhere near our price….. try and find one anyway and if you can then look at the prices being asked and condition….
We work on low overheads and put classic cars into the hands of discerning folks when we come across a good specimen (we are a paint and body shop). Any reasonable trial or test before purchase however, implicitly, with a 26 year old car no warranty can be given or implied
Use it or put it away in dry storage and watch it appreciate…better than money in the bank…. should qualify for classic car insurance as 26 yrs old in September
