We are delighted to present "Billy" for sale. Billy has a diary that dates back to October 1996 and has been the subject of much documentation from all of his owners during that time. This is a unique record of where he's been, who's owned him, how he's been cared for, and even how often he's been used. It demonstrates a level of care and love rarely shown to these traditional workhorses - and it shows in the way he sounds and drives too.
As can be seen from the photos, Billy is a genuine Station Wagon, with accommodation for 7 - deluxe seats to the front and the original individual side facing ones to the rear. The deluxe interior is in good order, with transmission tunnel cover, original mats, headliner, tropical roof, etc etc. The alpine lights and correct rear windows give an airy feel to the occupants.
Externally, Billy looks really good, and enjoys a full galvanised roof rack with rear ladder, towbar (front and rear) and electrics, rear mud flaps, lamp guards and original cappings. The paintwork is also of a "better than most" standard - it all comes together to make a really good looking station wagon.
Billy then, has been really well cared for during the last 20 or so years - he's been loved and well maintained - indeed a recent service has been carried out.... he starts easily and sounds fantastic.
If you are looking for a proper station wagon with unrivalled provenance then Billy wants you to give him a loving home. If you want to abuse him and treat him like a workhorse, he would prefer to stay with us until a loving family can adopt him, and perhaps maintain his unique and very detailed book!
