Here we have a 1992 k-reg vauxhall nova 1. 5 turbo diesel 3 dr hatchback finished in white.
this is another one of own personal projects that need to go, as with working 7 days every week now the past year i dont get the time to complete them like i wanted to.
its covered 126k, and has had 2 owners, last owner since 1996. full service history, a folder full of bills, even the original bill of sale when it was new!
it started off as a 1. 5td but has now got a cavalier mk3 1. 7td engine fitted to it, which has had the white polo ring mod done and the fuel pump turned up. It had a new cambelt kit and a service done at the time of the conversion. I cant remember if we replaced the clutch kit or not as this was done about a year ago, i think we did. It starts runs and drives sweet but does need one small boost pipe between inlet pipe and turbo to complete the conversion.
i have also lowered the car on gmax shocks and springs, either 40 or 60mm. I have also fitted a set of cesaro alloys with low profile tyres, with spare in the boot. Inside its had a set of sr seats fitted, although the passenger front and rears arent currently bolted in place. For extra i can include a gsi steering wheel with opel horn push, clear rear lights, a spare set of td speedometer and rev counter, and a white rear sri gsi spoiler.
the car will need welding to the sills, inner wheel archs. Please view the online failure for last mot as this is what needs doing. All ill say is if it was a rot box i wouldnt have bothered doing the engine conversion first of all. Battery tray and boot floor all seem fine. The interior needs a valet and the exterior needs a good machine polish as its abit flat but will mop up fine
i dont want to sell it but i dont have any spare time so rather than it sitting in my yard it deserves to go to a home where it will get used. Theres no battery fitted as the original was knackered, but i can stick one on it for loading purposes and so you can hear it run etc.
ideally id recommend trailering it away as its got no mot/ tax etc.
i'll be sad to see it go as i had one of these about 10 years ago and it was great fun but with working 7 days i dont think ill ever get the chance to finally finish and use it.
