The Appeal
Here is your chance to join a very exclusive club. Just three Brabus Widestar 450s were built for the UK by the factory. The other two cars were specially built for David Coulthard in McLaren West colours and designer Gordon Murray in his special Murray Tartan trim.
This car was bought by the current keeper in Belgium and commissioned by the current keeper. He sent it back to the Brabus factory, which took three months to transform it into the Widestar 450 specification. This includes the body kit, wheels and SB1 70bhp engine upgrade.
The current condition is a testament to the single keeper’s care and attention. It has covered under 50,000 miles from new and been regularly serviced irrespective of mileage. Between use it has been dry stored in an underground garage.
For enthusiasts of Smart’s clever city car, this represents an exceptionally rare opportunity that would be hard to replicate. It comes to market with lengthy MOT valid to June 2026 with no advisories.
The vendor says:
“This is a brilliant piece of packaging, with the luxury of a much bigger car with performance to match. I will be sad to see it, but unfortunately, it has become surplus to my requirement.”
