The Appeal
The later ‘986.2’ Boxster got bigger engines, more power and updated aesthetics. As the car gets renewed appreciation from collectors, these final cars stand out.
This facelift car mixes the 2.7L 225bhp flat six with the desirable manual box. Finished in Guards Red with black leather, it is a particularly impressive example, the whole accented by Turbo Twist alloys that give a wider stance.
The vendor bought the car in 2021 and has continued to the tradition of good maintenance established by previous keepers. It has covered only 1,000 miles since the last service and recent work in 2025 includes attention to the suspension with new drop links and coffin arms.
The MOT runs to February 2026. There were a couple of minor advisories on that test, which the vendor says he has attended to.
The vendor says:
“The car is phenomenal, it is the best one you’ll find. No expense has been spared on the car.”
