Bmw 1600-2 (type E10, 2 doors) from 1967, produced in the first 9 months of the successful 02 series and delivered in France on 17/ 01/ 1967, according to the Bmw Munich archives. This model - matching number - is entirely original apart from the fitting of a 6v alternator and an original Bmw rev counter. Recent Turf Green paintwork (code 037), Skaï-vinyl Grey interior (code 68).
Low mileage (38500 kms odometer), in perfect running order and free from corrosion, the original interior shows some cosmetic signs of 57 years of service. 85hp 4-cylinder engine, lively and alert, assisted braking, front discs and contained weight make this a very pleasant vehicle with very sound road holding.
