Model year 1951, manufactured in Chemnitz in the GDR
Second hand.
Sold on 08/ 04/ 1952 to the first owner, in Paris.
Broke down in the 1960s. (21, 201 km)
Sold (to me, second hand) in 2019 for a major restoration. (873 km since)
Registration document for collection.
All original papers are available (original registration document, purchase invoices from 1952, 2 maintenance invoices from 1954, etc)
Restoration 2019 (I am a mechanical engineer)
- Crankshaft + connecting rod + piston + new rings
- ALL bearings (engine + frame components) new + bronze bushings + cables and sheaths
- ENTIRE electrical system, wires, etc.
- 6V dynamo + ignition by points replaced by 12V alternator + electronic ignition
- New carburettor (new stock from the 1960s)
- New fuel tap
- Speedometer new, speedometer cable new.
- All rubber seals (except the two front fork gaiters)
- Throttle grip + switchgear + mirror new + horn
- Exhaust decoked internally with caustic soda
- Gearbox parts changed (selector shaft, spring + ball)
- Chain
- Air pump
- Licence plates hand-painted
- 12V battery + battery holder
- Tank not rusted.

Sold with a HUGE LOT of spare parts, original accessories, inner tubes, etc.
Apart from two interventions in 1954 (two invoices to support) this motorcycle has not been touched by anyone other than me during the major restoration in 2019.
Starts at a quarter turn even when cold. Ultra-stable idle.
