At the time, the Giulia was a benchmark sports coupé on the European market; with its 5-speed gearbox, almost unheard of at the time, it proudly boasted a top speed of more than 170 km/ h, making it possible to cover long distances that many cars with larger engines could scarcely envisage. Today, it continues to inspire with its elegant Bertone lines and its versatility in use.
This model comes from Italy and was registered on 22/ 08/ 1973.
Rare: it has its maintenance booklet, its user booklet and its period documentation.
Restored a few years ago, the car is in good condition both mechanically and cosmetically. The body has been completely repainted in its original colour, and the interior of the doors and engine compartment have not been neglected.
The paintwork is in perfect condition and shines well, the adjustments are up to standard and the whole is free from corrosion. The chrome is in very good condition and perfectly sparkling.
The upholstery has also been restored and is uniform and in very good condition.
The roof lining is in good condition, as is the woodwork and steering wheel, which have a slight patina that gives them a certain charm. The instrumentation is perfectly functional.
The engine is in good health, expressing itself with a metallic melody typical of the Bialbero, and its tuning is entirely satisfactory. The connecting rod and crankshaft bearings, the oil pump and the valve train have all been replaced, and the engine has been sealed.
As for the gearbox, it locks correctly. The exhaust is in good condition, and the rear and intermediate silencers are new and have been replaced by stainless steel. All the running gear has also recently undergone work. There is no abnormal play in the steering, the suspension does its job properly and the braking is effective and balanced. The wheels are painted in the original aluminium grey and fitted with Michelin tyres which are in very good condition. This mythical Italian coupé is therefore ready to take to the roads with peace of mind.
