I'm selling my July 1981 Yamaha XJ 650 fitted with a complete 1982 PAM kit (original invoice for this kit available), identical engine and frame numbers.
Certainly the only one in France still in circulation, in good condition, 45, 000 kms, registration papers in order and in my name, clean MOT.
Restarted a few years ago, after a long break of about fifteen years, with the carburettors and synchronisation adjusted.
Tyres OK, air filter, new battery, resin-coated tank, custom-made BUSSO silencers, just like the original ones but of much better quality. Lots of parts available (a complete engine in parts, six rims, swingarm with cardan joint, original tank and seat, backrests, two other PAM fairings, rider's and workshop manuals supplied, period documents, in short a lot to look forward to and everything in my workshop for this bike will be given away with it...).
The bike attracts a lot of interest and questions every time I go out, and it's also an opportunity to ride a unique bike. I regularly ride it to work (60 km round trip). Sold only because an old smoking two-stroke caught my eye.
