Description
Around 200 exquisite SZs were built by hand and at great expense between 1960 and 1963. The fast mecanics of the Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider Veloce combined with lightweight bodywork by Elio Zagato proved virtually unbeatable in the small-capacity races and rallies of the early 1960s. The cars were often found in the garages of Italian gentlemen drivers, who concentrated on national rallies, hill climbs and races. Many of the star drivers of the 1960s cut their teeth in Alfa Romeo SZ's. This car was found in a barn in 2018. Runs and drives, non matching numbers, full history, needs restoration.
