Description
info Since its first appearance on the streets in 1962, the original AC Cobra has become one of the most instantly recognisable sports cars of all time. Particularly revered in America, the Cobra has inspired a host of imitators to sample the joys of a huge V8 in a lightweight body, an ever-exciting recipe that always guarantees an exceptional power-to-weight ratio, not to mention an ear-to-ear grin.
This Cobra replica was built by Bessia Motorsport of Buenos Aires, Argentina, a company founded in 1980 by Osvaldo Bessia, a former racing driver and racer. Named the Biscayne Roadster, the first car was built in 1992 and is still in production today. To prove his credibility, Osvaldo Bessia regularly took part in classic motorsport events in Argentina at the wheel of a Biscayne Roadster, winning numerous trophies in sprints, hill climbs, 500-mile and 1, 000-mile events. This particular car was imported from Argentina and is accompanied by a Belgian Ford oldtimer registration document.
