Hello, I am selling with regret my BMW 520i, 6 cylinders, 2. 0L. (engine code: M50b20) This is a vehicle that has been to a few vintage vehicle gatherings and only goes out at weekends. The exterior and paintwork are in excellent condition, with a few micro scratches due to its age. The yellow headlights are original, the fog lights were added by the previous owner but the assembly was done by BMW with OEM parts (invoice attached). I had the original muffler replaced by a stainless steel muffler with flaps, allowing me to better enjoy the sound of the 6 cylinders (I have the invoice in my possession) The rims were professionally redone in 2019, they are the original rims. I also have a 5th set of cardboard rims that are still new. The interior looks good but has a few defects: the headliner is coming off, it needs to be redone.
I bought armrests that are not quite the same colour as the seats. The passenger door trim is also coming off.
The car is fitted with a Pioneer car radio, but it does not stand out in the cabin. The velour seats are in excellent condition, with no holes or tears. The dual-zone ventilation works very well, but the car is not fitted with air conditioning. The car is also fitted with an alarm.
As far as the engine is concerned, nothing to report, no reliability problems or leaks, it has undergone very regular maintenance. I have ALL the history of the car (from the first purchase invoice to the present day), most of the parts that have been changed are original OEM parts. I have the BMW certificate of conformity as well as all the period documentation. CT will be done for the sale and CG up to date. At the last CT on 30/ 08/ 24, the only minor fault was the front fog light settings. The last service was on 30/ 07/ 2024: water pump, thermostat, cooling fluid, accessory belt and rollers, engine oil change. In May 2025: gearbox oil change and battery change.
The vehicle is ready to go on the road. I have the spare keys. Vehicle can be seen in Fère Champenoise or Chalons en Champagne. Exchange possible for E30, E28, E36.
