I fitted a tow hitch myself in January 2024 but it has never towed more than 150 kg.
Defects:
- Unfortunately the previous owner did some off-roading and damaged the sills.
- The exhaust muffler is nearing the end of its life.
- Rear leaf springs have flattened out.
- Upholstery, driver’s seat foam worn, a tear in the lower faux leather.
- Headlining not collapsed but coming away.
- Spare wheel rim damaged.
So I have owned this Jeep since December 2020, I have found it to be a reliable and endearing vehicle, very pleasant for off-road and on-road trips.
I am selling this XJ, which, based on my positive experience, led me to buy... another Jeep! Its replacement? A WJ HO V8 4. 7 258 bhp.
