Description
Introduced in 1982, the second generation of the BMW 3 Series was meant to hit even harder than its predecessor, the BMW E21 (1975–1982).
To do this, BMW offered several body types (saloon, Touring estate, Coupe and Cabriolet) and also introduced multiple powertrains, mixing 4- and 6-cylinder units in the catalogue.
The success of this model was substantial, and in the race for accolades, the first BMW M3 was presented on an E30! The beginning of a legend had begun...
The early 1990s marked the end of production of this model which has become a collector’s item, very much in the Youngtimers spirit!
The BMW E30 was indeed gradually replaced (depending on body style) by the E36 generation.
Note that the E30 was the first BMW offered with four-wheel drive (hence the X in iX).
NYC's/ OXOTO presents for sale this beautiful and rare 100% original BMW E30 325iX in black, grey fabric interior, totaling less than 211, 000 kms.
Delivered new in February 1987, it was, according to our information, already Belgian in February 1988.
We also have excellent car pass history, tracing its mileage back to the year 2000 (less than 182, 000 kms) where one can see that the mileage has progressed, which is very good.
The bodywork is very good, nothing to complain about: no dents, no scratches and really no corrosion. It is truly superbly sound, impeccable!
The chrome on the bumpers, the window surrounds, everything is in great condition. The glass, by the way, is original!
The interior also presents very well, whether seats, dashboard, headlining, steering wheel, door trims, etc... The quality of fabric preservation is incredible for a car of this age.
The opening/ closing of the sunroof is also in order.
As for mechanical condition, nothing to anticipate as it has just come from a major service (oil change, filters, plugs, etc…), it runs very well without issue: no overheating, it runs true, the brakes are OK, ready to hit the road without worry. It has done over 100 kms to come to our premises, nothing to complain about and… what a melody!
We also have good traceability of BMW invoices since 2008, noting that it was in that year that the engine was changed, BMW invoice to support that it was done within the network.
The last technical inspection report dates from February 2023 – 208, 345 kms and mentions no technical remarks about the car.
A ramp/ inspection bay is available at our facilities to show you the underside of the vehicle.
