Description
Presented in 1982, the second generation of the BMW 3 Series was designed to strike even harder than its predecessor, the BMW E21 (1975-1982).
To that end, BMW offered several body styles (saloon, estate (Touring), coupe and cabriolet) and also several engine options, mixing 4- and 6-cylinder units in the catalogue.
The success of this model was substantial, and in the hunt for bragging rights, the first BMW M3 was introduced on an E30! The beginning of a legend began...
The early 1990s mark the end of production of this model, which has become a collector’s item, well in the spirit of Youngtimers!
The BMW E30 is indeed gradually replaced (depending on body styles) by the E36 generation.
Note that the E30 was the first BMW offered with four-wheel drive (hence the X in iX).

Delivered new in February 1987, it was, according to our information, Belgian as of February 1988.
We also have excellent follow-up of the car pass, tracing its mileage since the year 2000 (under 182, 000 kms) where one can see that the mileage has progressed, which is very good.
The bodywork presents very well, nothing to complain about: no dents, no scratches and really no rust. It is truly ultra-healthy, impeccable! The chrome on the bumpers, the window surrounds, everything is in superb condition. The windows, by the way, are the original ones!
The interior also presents very well, whether the seats, the dashboard, the headlining, the steering wheel, the door interiors, etc… The quality of fabric preservation is incredible for a car of this age. The opening–closing of the sunroof is also in order.
Mechanically, nothing to fear as it has just undergone a major service (oil change, filters, plugs, etc…), it runs very well without issue: no overheating, it runs straight, the brakes are OK, it is ready to hit the road without worry. It has travelled over 100 kms to come to our premises, nothing to complain about and… what a melody!
We also have good traceability of BMW invoices since 2008; note that it was in that year that the engine was changed, BMW invoice to confirm it was done within the network.
The latest MOT report dates from February 2023 – 208, 345 kms and mentions no technical remarks about the car.
