It is in excellent presentation condition, displaying a deep and uniform shade with excellent shine. After a professional polish performed on the orbital by our workshop, we noted the presence of a few tiny dust specks under the lacquer in various places on the body. We also noted a slight misalignment of the bonnet on the driver’s side and a small paint chip on the left-hand bonnet edge. The bumpers are perfectly aligned and free of impact or rubbing marks. The right rear bumper appears very slightly scratched on its upper part. The rear indicator lens caps show a few micro-cracks. The mohair hood in colour “Blue” is in excellent condition and the rear window mica is perfectly translucent. The mohair hood cover in colour “Black” is also in excellent condition. We noted a misalignment of the hood frame with the driver and passenger windows. This example is fitted with tinted glass. The 4 chromed 15’’ spoke wheels are in excellent condition, with no impact marks, deformation or oxidation. The chromed Jaguar knock-offs are also in excellent condition. The whole is equipped with 4 VREDESTEIN tyres. These show less than 10% wear at both front and rear. This example has its spare wheel of the same painted spoke type, along with its mallet and jack. Interior: The interior is as original (matching colour / (JAGUAR Heritage Trust) The leather upholstery in colour “Dark Blue” was restored a few years ago in accordance with its original colour and is still in excellent condition. The door panels in faux leather colour “Dark Blue” are also in excellent condition. The driver's and passenger seats have a small scratch, probably caused by the hood mechanism. The original dashboard is in excellent condition with no cracks or discolouration. The dashboard cap in faux leather colour “Black” is also in very good condition. The central armrest in faux leather colour “Blue” has been restored and is in excellent condition. The entire SMITHS instrument panel is fully functional, except for the original clock. The original wooden 3-spoke Jaguar steering wheel is in good condition and shows two small nicks. The Bakelite shift knob shows expected patina. We noted the absence of the plastic cap under the steering column. The K7 AUDIOVOX radio and the period air conditioning have been retained for aesthetics but are no longer functional. This model is fitted with aviation-type seat belts in colour “Blue” The carpets in colour “Blue” are in very good condition. Chassis: The top deck confirms a sound chassis and bodyshell, with no signs of structural corrosion. The basics: bodyshell, floor pans, Eiffel-truss chassis, sills, wing roots, wheel arches and longitudinals are in good condition. Usage reserve...
