I know that the garage mechanic who serviced the car, which belonged to a Parisian family who had bought it new, to put it in the south towards Cannes as a second-hand car for a holiday home; then it was the daughter who ended up with the car when she settled in permanently to the house.
I bought it last year; work had begun to restore it: brakes, exhaust, etc.
It would apparently have 33, 000 original kilometres, given the little wear on the pedals and seats.
There is a bit of rust on the edges of the rear wings, and on the lower rear part of the front wheel arches; the undersides are very sound as are the sills.
I did a clean and changed the seat padding, changed the gearbox oil, differential oil, engine oil, old-style battery and restart, 2 new tyres.
But I’m gradually moving to Tahiti and am parting with my vehicles.
