The Atelier des 1000 presents for sale this beautiful BMW R100RT from 1982 imported from Canada where it was restored a few years ago.
The R100 has gradually risen to icon status, being reliable, comfortable and versatile, and it superbly embodies BMW motorcycle technology.
Many of them have been modified according to Café Racer and Scrambler trends to such an extent that it is now rare to find machines strictly original.
The bike we are offering for sale has received maintenance:
- rear tyre
- battery
- oil change
- spark plugs
- valve clearances
- rocker cover gasket
It is in perfect working order and starts easily without any noise or smoke.
The braking is effective, with aviation-grade hoses fitted at the front.
The wheels are fitted with Metzeler tyres. The consumables are up to date.
The paint is in good condition, as is the upholstery. During its restoration, the bike was completely dismantled and the chassis was repainted in epoxy. The tank was treated.
As for the chromed exhaust, it is in perfect condition.
The vehicle will be sold with a favourable MOT and a French collector's registration certificate.
