Description
This Jaguar XK140 drophead coupe was delivered to the United States in January 1955, as were many of its contemporaries. It was restored by a recognised specialist of this model in the Paris region, eighteen years ago. It has travelled very little since and has been kept in excellent overall condition. Its white paintwork has retained its gloss and pairs elegantly with the splendid red upholstery, which is very lightly patinated. The previous owner installed a five-speed gearbox, making its driving more pleasant and more engaging. The overall operation of this car is flawless. Its original engine is fitted with a ‘Type C’ cylinder head which, in addition to enhanced performance, adds an extra rarity to this coupe. This cabriolet is sold serviced and guaranteed for 12 months. Viewable by appointment near Fontainebleau at Hervé Chauvin Collection. More information on request or on our site.
