FOR SALE Porsche 356 1500 S, a French car sold by Sonauto, with a Porsche certificate; only three owners.
Ground‑up restoration completed in 1980 by the previous owner, including a complete bodywork strip for a full repaint in its original shade “Adria Blue”, full restoration of the headlining, carpets, upholstery and trim.
All seals replaced while keeping as many original parts as possible in their original condition.
Replacement of the four brake drums with new ones.
The wiring loom is new and EVERYTHING works.
Matching numbers present on all opening panels.
About 95% of parts are original to the car; the only parts replaced have been replaced with original parts. The hubcaps are available, as are all photos of the restoration.
The gearbox is original (verified number); only the engine is not original, having been replaced at the time by the previous owner with a VW unit. Possibility of a new Porsche 1500 S engine close to the original, or a new Porsche 1600 S engine.
The car starts, runs and stops, the technical inspection has been carried out and the historic vehicle registration CG collection is in my name at present.
