AUDI QUATTRO COUPE TYPE 85 WR2 (1981): THE REVOLUTIONARY ICON IN SAN REMO LIVERY 1984
Discover a piece of automotive history: the Audi Quattro Type 85 WR. This model popularised four-wheel drive in rallying, forever changing the face of global competition.
This December 1981 example has undergone a full "bare-metal" restoration and sports the mythical San Remo Rally 1984 livery.
A vibrant homage to the golden age of Group B, combining pure performance with exceptional preservation.
That year, the factory works team included two legendary drivers who left their mark on history: Stig Blomqvist, who clinched the World Championship title that same year, and Walter Röhrl, whose talent propelled Quattro technology to the top of world motorsport.
Advisor's note: "We are touching here on absolute myth. Finding a Quattro 'Ur' in this state of restoration is today a rarity on the market. The San Remo 1984 decoration is executed with precision, paying tribute to a historic Audi Sport season. It is a sound, brutal car with stunning efficiency, ready to join a top-flight collection."
