For sale: Golf Cabriolet to finish restoring, February 1981, logbook.
A few small finishing touches to do before putting it into primer,
The shell is extremely solid, no rust, big bumpers,
Complete vehicle, not everything is shown in the photos,
Its original engine, 140, 000 km (1600 carb), needs a new desanding washer (part supplied); it ran very well before dismantling,
One additional engine at 150, 000 km (1800 carb) also ran very well before dismantling,
For both engines expect to redo the carb gaskets, dry stored for a long time (for the 1600 supplied),
Avus wheels,
Interior redone to as-new by an upholsterer,
Roof to redo but the frame is in excellent condition,
