I’m selling my 1979 Alfa Romeo Alfasud Sprint Delta, it’s a special edition produced in under 500 units, a rare sight on the roads, originally French, it was sold new in the north of France.
I’m the 3rd owner, I’ve had it for 11 years with 86, 000 km.
I have in my possession all the period documents including the order form and the new purchase invoice.
This model originally came with the wide kit, wide wheels, and a tuned engine that develops 95 hp instead of 85 hp on the base version.
A lot of expenditure over 11 years, all on invoices; a bespoke stainless steel exhaust line has been fitted.
The vehicle inspection was carried out in February and is valid.
It presents well, however the windscreen surround is corroded (visually not perforated, to check under the seal), the left sill has a hole smaller than a 20p coin but needs repair, the carburettor would need refurbishing for a new one as it is finicky when cold despite multiple adjustments.
The car is ready to be driven; I’ve enjoyed it a lot but I don’t take it out much anymore due to lack of time to devote to it.
I’d like it to end up in good hands with a fellow enthusiast who will enjoy the same pleasure I’ve had over the years.
