Description
Produced in two runs of just 200 units each, the Fiat Gamine was distributed in France by GAM Garage Automobile Monégasque, owned by former racing cyclist Raphaël Geminiani, which earned it in France the nickname Gamine.
It is a two-seater roadster bodied by Vignale on the basis of the Fiat 500; it is fitted with two very comfortable seats, a bespoke two-spoke aluminium steering wheel and a leather-rimmed wheel bearing the Ferrera badge. The hood and its rear hoop sit behind the seats in place of the rear bench.
The model on offer was purchased by its current owner in 1999.
This car underwent a full restoration in 2017, including blasting of the shell and a complete overhaul of its original mechanicals. Its interior, in particular, was made to measure in leather. It is also fitted with a stainless steel exhaust and Borranni wheels.
A substantial photo dossier of its restoration is available.
Since its restoration the car has covered only 8, 000 km.
