I am selling, due to a change of project, my genuine BMW M535i E12 from 1980.
One of the brand's mythical and iconic cars with the propeller badge
1, 410 examples, 960 of them left-hand drive
Regarding this one, chassis number 4145007
Seventh produced!
The car was originally French, bought new in the Landes
I have owned this vehicle for more than two years
The car shows a modest 375, 000 kilometres, not likely to rise much
I have the vehicle's full history file since its beginnings
MOT certificate up to date and clean
Quite a few things to tell

Vehicle in good condition for its age and mileage
5-speed sport manual with a locking differential
Interior is in very good condition
No cracks in the dashboard
Recaro seats in good condition despite slight seam tears in the usual spots (45-year-old vintage...)
Three-spoke steering wheel sourced from the M1
15" Rial Mesh wheels fully refurbished
Chassis fully rebuilt by a body shop (invoices available)
Rear wings as well, with cut-out of the inner edge (invoices available)
Bilstein B6 Sport springs with H&R springs
Stainless exhaust system custom-made
New Supersprint exhaust header
New brake pads
New ignition (Delco module, ignition pickup, new high-performance ignition wiring, PMH sensor, etc.)
New fuel pump, new fuel filter, etc...
Wiechers adjustable front and rear anti-roll bars
I will probably be forgetting some....
In short, here are the positives
Regarding the negatives
As explained above, the vehicle is in good condition!
However, early rust around the windscreen seal
Clearcoat peeling around the windscreen seal
Small rust spot on the left front wing plus a scratch on the left front
In short, a 45-year-old car that could possibly deserve a full repaint for someone who likes to pamper it!
I must emphasise that the car presents very well!

In the late 1990s to early 2000s, the car belonged to Delage Sport garage...
The M90 engine was replaced with an M30B34 engine, most likely from an M535i E28, so unfortunately no longer the original engine... but a strong-running engine!
Intermediary stainless exhaust to check, made in the 2000s, no leaks! But it might lightly rub in places...
To recap, a 45-year-old vehicle in a nice presenting condition
I've given the car a general tidy-up
