The Italian advertising slogan used for this model at launch was “Giulia, a car drawn by the wind”
I’m parting with my Alfa Giulia 1600 type 105-26 from 1972.
Sold in France and first registered on 14 April 1972, it has undergone various registrations:
- May 1984: 2446 SP 49
- November 1988: 7967 SN 37 (FFVE certificate dated 26/ 03/ 2019 after restoration)
- April 2020: moved to the new SIV FP-955-NB (with a change of owner in 2022), then after an engine restoration it was sold to a professional in Gironde, who sold it on to a Polish dignitary in June 2024 (registration WH 63W specific to Polish classic vehicles).
I bought it in April 2025, and it’s back in France and (not without a fight!) back to its SIV registration.
CT (roadworthiness test) OK until 2030; it will be renewed for the sale.

French manual — spare key copies. Keys are different: the driver’s and passenger’s keys for the AVD and AVG positions (right-hand lock cylinder was exchanged).
HIGHLIGHTS:
High-end Biscione model with premium trim and a “serpent” badge.
Subject to a complete restoration in France in 2017/ 2018 (an impressive number of invoices).
Lowered suspension fitted with Koni dampers (watch out for cobblestones…), hence the addition of an oil sump protection.
Has had an anticorrosion wax protection applied using colourless Innotec wax.

BF Goodrich 185/ 70x14 tyres in good condition (about 10% wear)
Steel wheels with original wheel trims (full 4-alloy wheels also available as an option with chromed nuts—not fitted with left/ right chrome nuts—equipped with 2019 Continental 185/ 70X14 “conti premium contact” tyres, used with about 5% remaining).
Fully electronic ignition with the correct coil (original distributor and coil supplied)
