Description
I am selling my Beetle in a condition close to new because unfortunately I don't have time to drive it, and I want to pass it on to an enthusiast who can take care of it.
It’s a vehicle I acquired in 2014, which was then second-hand, so I’m the 3rd owner with a traceable history. I also have the certificate of conformity issued in 1973 at the time of order.
Subsequently I carried out a full restoration of the vehicle and I have a complete photo dossier. The chassis was fully stripped, epoxy paint applied. During the restoration I replaced almost all the parts while staying as faithful as possible to its original look.
The Marina Blue shade is the original colour, the upholstery was originally houndstooth but not finding the original fabric, I opted for a beige faux leather which really gives character to the interior. The front seat springs were fully restored.
Authentic white-wall Firestone tyres fitted, including the spare wheel, with white body seals to match.
It’s a vehicle that runs on a 6V system originally, runs very well and is perfect for short trips. A battery disconnect switch has been installed behind the rear bench.
Always stored dry, I should add that I restored this vehicle with the initial aim of keeping it, so it isn’t a quick-fix restoration intended to make a profit.
Don’t hesitate to contact me for more information.
