Vehicle imported from the US about fifteen years ago.
Engine rebuilt at 100, 000 km
Mechanical overhaul with replacement of front-end components: suspension bushes, bearings, shock absorbers
Complete restoration of the braking system: calipers, pads, master cylinders, flexible hoses, power assist and wheel cylinders.
All cooling and heating hoses have been replaced.
The rear axle has also been checked with replacement of the axle bushes and seals.
The Stromberg carburettors were replaced by two double-barrel Weber carburettors and a sport exhaust system fitted to give the car power similar to European injection models, without their drawbacks.
An electric fuel pump completes this mechanical evolution.
The bodywork shows no signs of rust. Additionally, damaged lower sills have been replaced.
The interior and upholstery have been revised, with replacement of the carpets, door panels, rear panels and the centre console, varnished dashboard components and reupholstery of the seats.
The gauges have been refurbished or replaced.
The hood (with opening rear window) is new. A hood cover completes the equipment.
Latest MoT certificate is clean.
Vehicle holds its FFVE certificate allowing it to be registered as a collectors’ vehicle.
