All of our vehicles are rigorously inspected before being put up for sale: more than 70 checks are carried out (mechanical, chassis, bodywork, interior and accessories) + a full road test conducted by our workshop foreman. Each vehicle also undergoes a compression test on the engine and/ or a cold oil pressure check (depending on technical possibilities). The bodywork is presentable and shows a uniform shade with good gloss. After a professional polish with the orbital polisher by our workshop, we noted a few paint defects on the engine lid, a small dent on the top of the left rear wing and the boot lid. The chrome bumpers are in perfect condition. We noted a small crack on the left rear light lens. The tinted green windscreen is in good condition. The original Tan coloured vinyl roof is in excellent condition and easy to fit with weatherproofing compliant with period standards. The mica appears slightly micro-scratched. The original Rostyle steel wheels are in good condition, with no impact marks or distortion despite a few small paint chips. They are fitted with four chrome wheel trims in very good condition. The four Hankook tyres show 5% wear. This example is equipped with its spare wheel and original jack as well as a spare wheel cover. Among the notable exterior equipment and options this example has are: the chrome wheel trims and the green tinted windscreen. Interior: The interior is presentable. Beige vinyl upholstery is in excellent condition. The matching door cards are in very good condition, with no interior access marks or sagging. The wooden finish on the dashboard is in perfect condition. The wooden trim on the central console is also in good condition. The dash cap shows no deformation or discolouration. The entire SMITH dashboard instrumentation is fully functional except the odometer. The original clock is fully functional. The Kenwood CD radio is likewise functional. Conversely, the ventilation is no longer functional. This example is equipped with a wooden MOTOLITA steering wheel in excellent condition, with no cracks or breaks. The MG leather gear knob shows signs of use. The central armrest with storage is in very good condition. The black carpets are in good original condition, with no major wear or discolouration. This example is equipped with a seat belt system. Among the notable interior equipment and options including: the 12-volt socket, central armrest with storage, MOTOLITA wooden steering wheel, leather MG gear knob and the Kenwood CD radio. Chassis: The lift onto the hoist confirms a healthy shell, with no obvious structural corrosion. The basics: sills, floors, lower wing sections and wheel arches are in good condition.
