Magnificent restored coupé, refurbished a few years ago, including: carpets, paintwork, brakes, stainless-steel exhaust, fuel tank, complete wiring loom, instruments, ignition wiring, electronic distributor, high-torque starter, oil radiator, carburettors, 5-speed gearbox, clutch, 10% worn tyres, Minilite wheels, Motolita steering wheel, stainless luggage rack, long-range setup, additional fan, oil temperature gauge—everything has been changed for new or fully restored parts (including the carbs).
This car was originally fitted with a rebuilt MG B 1800 engine, but for legal reasons in France it has now just been re-equipped with the original 1600 engine, rebuilt to a high standard by a specialist, using quality parts in accordance with best practice. Documents included.
The car is supplied for the purists, with in addition its original 4-speed gearbox and its shaft—both completely overhauled.
The new engine is currently in the running-in period and has 250 km so far, with further mileage to come.
