Description
The JBA Falcon is the fruit of British craftsmanship, designed since the late 1970s to offer an affordable and customisable alternative to classic cars from across the Channel. Rooted in the kit-car movement, this roadster was available in turnkey form or as a build-it-yourself kit. JBA Engineering, founded by three passionate engineers (Jones, Barlow and Ashley, hence 'JBA'), focused on meticulous artisanal construction and a silhouette heavily inspired by traditional English models, while offering modern mechanicals.
The Falcon is offered in several variants, the most iconic being the Falcon Roadster and the Falcon Tourer. Before the Falcon, JBA already offered retro-styled models, but it is with this range that the brand established itself. The Roadster features a lightweight body on a modern technical base, giving pure driving enthusiasts a bespoke, à-la-carte setup. The succession of the Falcon mainly came through the appearance of new kit-cars, but this model remains JBA's benchmark.
NYCS/ OXOTO offers here for sale a Falcon Sport version registered in June 1979 and powered by a Ford four-cylinder engine of 1991cc developing just over 100 bhp.
