Description
I am 20 kilometres from Forbach
Opportunities like this are very rare. There are many restored 356s, mostly from America. But here we have an example that was ordered and delivered in Germany, with three previous owners to date, in an unrestored original condition!
The first owner, a professor Dr Dr (with his own Wikipedia entry), born in 1903, ordered this 356 SC in late 1963. He cared for and maintained his 356 at Porsche in Zuffenhausen until he handed it over to his daughter in 1987, after 23 years and 142, 000 km. The attached records contain more than 40 documents from this period.
The daughter sold it, with only 2, 500 km more on the odometer, to Mr Paul Breitner, a former international footballer, in 1995. Mr Breitner drove the car about 5, 000 km over the next five years before it was sold to its last owner. He, a celebrity hairdresser from Munich, racked up around 20, 000 km over the following 25 years.
The bodyshell is unwelded and in very good condition. Naturally, there have been no accidents. The original paint is still present over large areas. The interior is still the original red with corduroy seat covers.
