Description
ERRATUM: Following a more in-depth inspection, the vehicle left the Flins factory on 28/ 10/ 1994 and was initially intended for export. This car was ultimately delivered new in France, so it is indeed a numbered Phase 2.
It comes with a complete set of invoices allowing its history to be traced back to the original.
The vehicle has retained its original engine, preserving its matching-numbers character—an especially sought-after feature on this model.
Finally, as the odometer was very likely replaced during its life, the actual mileage would be approximately 110, 000 km higher than the figure currently shown.
The Atelier des 1000 is delighted to offer for sale this Renault Clio Williams Phase 2 in its iconic Bleu Sport specification, paired with its original gold Speedline wheels.
Produced in the early 1990s to homologate the Clio for competition, the Williams is today considered one of the absolute benchmark cars among modern French hot hatches.
Developed on the basis of the Clio 16S in collaboration with Williams Renault F1, this version receives the famous 2. 0-litre F7R 150 hp engine, mated to a chassis that has been extensively reworked.
With its particularly sharp front end, well-controlled weight and a very demonstrative engine character, the Clio Williams quickly established itself as one of the best sporty front-wheel drives of its era.
The example we are offering is a genuine numbered Williams 6913 and benefits from the rare original sunroof.
Today, the car presents in a particularly desirable configuration, with its Bleu Sport / gold wheels combination that has become emblematic of the model.
This Clio comes with a substantial invoice file documenting its servicing since it left the dealership—an element that has become particularly appreciated on this type of car today, often modified or poorly preserved.
Mechanically, the F7R engine retains all the character that made the Williams famous, with a strong pull through the rev range and a particularly lively feel.
The car also receives an OMP front strut brace, which reinforces the rigidity of the front end and contributes to the precision of its on-road behaviour.
The rear exhaust has been replaced in 2025.
The rolling set-up retains a healthy, true-to-the-Williams character, with direct steering and excellent overall balance.
Braking does its job properly and the whole car still delivers that trademark lightness typical of 1990s French performance cars.
The bodywork suits this Bleu Sport shade perfectly, highlighting the model’s specific details.
The gold Speedline wheels obviously add to the Clio Williams’ cult visual identity.
The cabin also looks spot-on, with trim and fittings consistent with the vehicle’s original spirit.
The overall package keeps the simple, sporty ambience typical of Renault Sport cars from this period.
This Clio Williams will appeal to GTI and youngtimer enthusiasts looking for an authentic, numbered example with a particularly comprehensive service history.
Given the condition, the rarity of the model and the file, we are asking €27, 990.
