We are delighted to offer you this superb 1968 Jaguar Type E Cabriolet Series 1. 5, fitted with the 4. 2-litre engine. A true icon, this transition model between Series 1 and Series 2, the Series 1. 5, was produced for just one year.
This example was delivered new in the United States in 1968 and imported into France in 1993. The last owner purchased it in 1999 and carried out a full restoration of the bodywork, upholstery and mechanical components between 2010 and 2014.
Finished in an elegant Opalescent Silver Grey, matched with a Bordeaux leather interior, the colour combination is superb. Its straight-six of 4, 235 cc producing 265 bhp is fed by three horizontal SU carburettors and is paired with a four-speed manual gearbox.
