101, 000km (not guaranteed): the odometer had been stuck at 78, 000km since the end of 2019. I fixed it when I bought the car and added 22, 000km, which seems consistent for this kind of older vehicle
Special edition Ascona J for the end of production: the specifics are the black and silver 13x5. 5 sport wheels (including the spare wheel), the sport steering wheel, the Ascona J stickers on the bonnet and the boot lid, and the side stripes
Very good condition for the bodywork, chassis and mechanicals
Instrument cluster combined replaced with an Opel Manta GSI instrument cluster. I also include the original cluster
In addition to the original speedometer, fuel gauge and water temperature gauge, it has a trip meter, tachometer, voltmeter and econometer
The mechanical fuel pump is new (I also include an electric fuel pump)
The hoses under the carburettor are new
The intermediate exhaust silencer is recent
The rear silencer is new, with a chrome exhaust tailpipe (period piece, including its box)
New floor mats and boot mat
Koni shock absorbers (the red ones), original height, adjustable for stiffness
Fitted a transistorised ignition box Poitou Rétro Elec, which avoids condenser failures and preserves the points
Replacement of all fluids: engine oil service, gearbox oil, differential oil, coolant and brake fluid
Copy of the workshop manual (over 1100 pages)
Collection V5C registered in my name
MOT test under 6 months (March 2026, valid until March 2031)

- Honda S2000 black leather seats on Civic EK shells and rails, to adapt to the Ascona: +£600
Possible swap against a Toyota MRS (preferably); alternatively a Mazda MX5 or a 929 Coupé of similar value.
