Hello, for true American muscle car enthusiasts, I'm selling my sublime 1970 Buick GS 455, "The Torque Monster" as it was called back in the day because of its record-breaking torque of 700 Nm!
This is serious kit – we're talking about the best of what was being made in 1970, representing the pinnacle of the muscle car era! A true elephant in a dinner jacket, it was the only one to combine class, comfort and refinement, but when you plant your foot, it transforms into a proper beast, and the burble of that enormous 7. 5-litre V8 becomes a deep roar that pins you to your seat and catapults you!
The engine has been rebuilt to 455 Stage 1 specifications, producing around 400 bhp and 700 Nm, 0 to 100 km/ h in 6 seconds, and acceleration that leaves most modern sports cars in the dust.
It's a matching numbers car except for its stunning "Atomic Orange" colour, which was available in the Corvette catalogue back then.
I have a complete file containing the original factory build sheet, as well as an official authenticity certificate from the Sloan Buick Museum in the United States. Every invoice is present, even the decoding of the original radio!
I've owned it for four years and it's regularly serviced by a specialist near Metz. The oil and filter change was done last October with Motul Nineties Classic oil and top-of-the-range Purolator filters. The brake fluid has also been flushed.
Everything works perfectly and there are no expenses on the horizon.
