Description
I’m selling this lovely 1979 Honda CB400N, showing just 22, 500 km on the clock.
The bike has had only three owners and is in very nice overall condition, with a setup true to the road-bike spirit of the late 1970s.
It’s fitted with its rare period Denfeld hard panniers, made in West Germany, complete with their keys and full mounting support. The panniers still have their original labels stating a maximum load of 10 kg and a maximum speed of 130 km/ h.
The bike comes with its original period Honda owner’s handbook.
Recent work:
engine rebuilt;
new tyres;
new brake pads;
brakes checked and serviced.
The 395 cc Honda twin runs properly. The CB400N is a pleasant, reliable and easy-to-ride motorcycle, just as suited to rides out as it is to classic vehicle gatherings.
The bodywork, seat, chrome, Comstar wheels and exhausts all present very well. Naturally, a few light signs of use may be present given its age.
A motorcycle that’s become difficult to find in this complete specification, as many examples have been converted into café racers.
Asking price: €3, 200, reasonably negotiable given the bike.
Viewings by appointment only. Please refrain from curious queries or fanciful offers.
