Description
Mercedes 170 DS w136 from the 1950s requiring restoration, it is complete and has been stored dry for years. A rare option on this model is the convertible roof (the hood is in good condition). The 170 DS is equipped with a 1767 cc diesel engine producing 45 bhp, with a 4-speed gearbox.
The interior is luxurious in 1950s style with an elegant dashboard and seats offering comfort unmatched by any modern car!
This comfort is also reflected in the exterior design, an elegant body with impressive wings, those large round headlights and long doors as well as its dominant chromium-plated Mercedes badge at the end of the bonnet.
The vehicle requires restoration mainly to the chassis rails and boot floor; new parts can be found on a German website. The engine is not seized and can be restarted.
