The bodywork of this Ford F1 Pick-Up bears the marks of the years elapsed since it left the factory. This has resulted in an even patina across the entire bodywork, despite the presence of structural rust points as evidenced by the photographs. The vehicle's original chrome, whilst slightly dulled, is in fine presentable condition and complements this patina perfectly. The front bumper, running boards and wheel arches are the most affected by rust and will require complete refurbishment.
The tyres, in good condition, are mounted on black rims with chrome inserts, also in good condition.
Inside, you'll find the distinctive atmosphere of these best-sellers from the 1950s. Whilst the mechanical elements (gauges, linkages, buttons) require complete renovation, the dashboard itself remains in excellent condition given the age of this example. The floor also suffers from rust and will need to be restored, as will the door panels. The red leather and velvet upholstery is in good condition and shows no tears, presenting well despite these 70 years.
Regarding the mechanical side, this example is equipped with a 4-cylinder 2-litre engine sourced from a Ford Sierra. The vehicle does not start.
