This car has just completed two years of restoration work, from December 2023 to December 2025, carried out by eight specialists. Everything is invoiced and the full documentation is available for review.
The pneumatic central locking system was completely overhauled in December 2025: actuators, pipes, three-way and two-way connectors, rear lock, boot lock, barrel re-keyed to the original key, door card removal and locking mechanism repair. Twenty-seven hours of labour on this work alone. Anyone familiar with a C107 knows what this entails.
On the same invoice: seat removal, restoration of seat rails and guides, electric aerial replaced with new wiring loom, oil gauge, breather hose, door trim moulding fasteners.
Engine bay work completed in March 2024 at Rewind Classic: engine, differential and gearbox oil changes, engine, air and fuel filters, right-hand steering track rod, central exhaust realignment and rubber mount replacement, alternator, air conditioning and power steering belts.
Braking system overhauled: left rear brake line replaced, brake fluid renewed.
Interior restored in October 2024 at Paddock Classic: left and right door seals with upper frames, door cable grommets, brake pedal rubber, and installation of a fully wired Blaupunkt Madrid car radio. Upholstery restored by Frédéric Moulins in 2024.
New tyres, supplied by two specialist collectors' suppliers. Black plates and polished lettering. Solar film on rear window.
