1961 Jaguar E-Type 3. 8 Flat Floor, a very rare early Series 1 example, fully restored to concours standards. Matching numbers confirmed, original specification retained, mechanicals and bodywork comprehensively rebuilt.
This E-Type has undergone an exhaustive restoration: revised 3. 8 engine, restored Moss four-speed gearbox, rebuilt running gear, restored differential, new wiring loom, and leather interior restored using period-correct materials (BAS supplied). The bodywork has been fully restored and resprayed in its original colour.
The car starts first time, holds a steady idle and offers precise, healthy handling. All the features specific to the earliest cars, including the flat floor, riveted louvres, model-specific door chrome, bucket seats and thin-rimmed wooden steering wheel, are present and in excellent condition.
