Description
I am selling my classic car, a 1969 DS 20 Pallas, carefully restored. 9 months of work assisted by 2 mechanics, a panel beater and an expert, owner of several vehicles of the same type and DS parts dealer whom you have certainly already met at classic car shows. The car has been restored to its original colours, pearl grey, black roof, the interior has been completely refurbished (carpets, headlining, foam, seat bases and covers). The bodywork is sound, with no corrosion; the lower door sections which were corroded have been cut out and re-panelled (no filler work or other shortcuts). The damaged chrome has been restored or replaced. The mechanics have been completely overhauled, the Weber carburettor replaced with a new one calibrated on a test bench, the alternator replaced with a regulated alternator. The hydraulics are fully functional. The speedometer on the dashboard has been replaced with one correct for the vehicle's year. The tyres are Michelin reproductions in original specification (size and tread pattern). The windscreen, which had become cloudy with age, has also been replaced.
This vehicle is ready for any distance.
I have all the invoices for the parts required for the work carried out on this vehicle as well as a complete photo file of the restoration.
NB: the car appears Carrara white in some photos because the paint in its original colour (pearl grey AC 95 and black roof) was applied as the final stage of restoration.
The price is well below the actual cost of the vehicle plus restoration, but life's circumstances are leading me to part with this beautiful car, albeit reluctantly.
