All our vehicles undergo rigorous checks before being put on sale: over 70 checkpoints are inspected (mechanics, chassis, bodywork, interior and accessories), plus a full road test carried out by our workshop manager. Each vehicle also undergoes an engine compression test and/ or a cold oil pressure check (where technically feasible). Bodywork / Exterior: The model shown here is a 1967 TR4 A IRS in its original ‘TRIUMPH Racing Green 25’ colour (matching colour), fitted with an option that was rare at the time and is highly sought-after today: the removable Surrey Top (retractable hardtop). This is the detachable version, offering two possible configurations: ‘hard top’ and ‘soft top’. The whole unit is in excellent condition. We have noted a slight misalignment on the driver’s door. During the restoration, this car was fitted with two new chrome ‘shell-type’ wing mirrors and PROFIBER stainless steel rear wings. The bumpers are perfectly aligned and in excellent condition. Only the front bumpers and rear light brackets show minor dents. The removable Surrey Top was also restored whilst the car was being repainted. It is in excellent condition despite a small dent on the rear left-hand side. The ‘TRIUMPH Racing Green 25’ hardtop and the ‘Black’ imitation leather soft top fit easily and are watertight in accordance with period standards. The imitation leather headlining of the hardtop is in fair condition. The four 15-inch chrome-plated spoked wheels and their four knock-off centres are in excellent condition. The two front GOODYEAR tyres show 50 per cent tread remaining at the front; the two rear HANKOOK tyres show 5 per cent tread remaining at the rear. This car is fitted with its spare wheel. Among the interesting ‘Bodywork/ Exterior’ options and features fitted to this car, we have noted: the four 15-inch chrome-spoked wheels, the Surrey Top and the Soft Top. Interior: The interior was restored to its original condition a few years ago and is now in a very fine state of preservation. The ‘Black’ imitation leather upholstery with ‘White’ piping is in good condition, showing no signs of wear or discolouration...
