We've just taken in this example, which immediately captivated us with its striking and characterful colour, as well as its sound mechanical condition. The paintwork shows a light patina consistent with its age, whilst the upholstery would benefit from a refresh, which has inspired us to give it a new look, working particularly on its aesthetics whilst respecting the original spirit of the Targa. Our vision is to carry this philosophy through to completion, combining its Gulf blue finish with a polished aluminium Targa roll bar as on the early series, ivory Fuchs wheels and havana upholstery. A combination designed to bring it timeless elegance, whilst preserving its current paintwork, to make it a true driver's car, built for stylish motoring. It is nevertheless offered for sale from today in its current configuration, at the advertised price of €49, 990. This option offers its future owner several possibilities: acquiring a sound base, perfect for driving straight away with style, and carrying out the restoration and personalisation themselves. They may also entrust us with realising the project in the configuration presented in the advert visuals, or alternatively work with us to imagine a bespoke personalisation, according to their own tastes and inspirations. Its Carfax testifies to consistent mileage and reveals no accidents. It was subsequently imported to Belgium in 2016 by its last owner, before arriving in our workshop today. Behind the wheel, this 911 proves particularly pleasant to drive, offering all the pleasure and sensations that make this generation of 911s so charming. This version, powered by the 3. 0-litre flat-six, is more spirited than a 3. 2 and more reliable than the 2. 7s, which are known for their magnesium crankcases that are notoriously fragile. Usable on a daily basis, it continues to seduce with its authenticity, comfort and the possibility of driving with the wind in your hair thanks to the Targa roof without the draught of a cabriolet. ----- Mechanically, the vehicle is in sound condition: its engine starts without noise or smoke. A routine service will be carried out before sale. We note several oil seepages which could be addressed with partial resealing. The 915 five-speed gearbox engages and locks the gears correctly, whilst the clutch performs its role perfectly. The running gear is precise, the steering is firm and the road behaviour particularly pleasant. The dampers are in good condition and perform their role perfectly. Regarding braking, it is effective and balanced. The Fuchs wheels are in excellent condition and the front tyres will be replaced for sale and a wheel alignment will be carried out accordingly. The paintwork retains a fine lustre and the overall appearance testifies to homogeneous patina. We note some minor imperfections consistent with the vehicle's age, without these compromising its overall presentation. The underside is sound and shows no structural corrosion. The seats offer good support. The blue upholstery does however show a tear on the driver's seat as well as on a rear backrest. The original interior also shows a general patina, consistent with the age and history of the vehicle. All of the instrumentation functions perfectly. Favourable MOT.
