Description
Hello, I've decided to put my beautiful 1972 Beetle 1302S up for sale, with certified original mileage of under 75, 000 km. Clean history from new, with invoices available. Original 1972 logbook in my possession. Date of first registration: 24/ 03/ 1972. The car stayed within the same family until I bought it back in 2024. The vehicle is in exceptional condition and has always been garaged under cover. The chassis is original, never restored, and shows no rust, and neither does the rest of the car. It did, however, receive a respray in the early 2000s. It is finished in Pastel White and fitted with a red Pigalle interior that suits it perfectly. The engine is also original and has never been opened. I have fitted shortened strut assemblies with Golf 1 shock absorbers, which lowers the front just the right amount while keeping the ride comfortable. I have also fitted Sprinstar wheels and Vredestein Sprint Classic tyres, fitted by Schmecko. These are the only modifications. I can supply the struts, shock absorbers and original steel wheels if the next owner wants to return the car to standard. The car is on a historic/ collector's registration, the MOT will be redone before sale, and no costs are expected unless an oil change is needed, which can be done before the sale. The car only does very low mileage over short distances, but on a regular basis. I'm selling it because I don't use it enough, even though it took me many years to find one in this condition. However, I would rather part with it and find a new owner who will look after it as well as I have. Since I got it, it has been kept under its car cover in a locked garage. This is a genuine museum piece that I'm offering you, it really is in exceptional condition. Feel free to get in touch for more information. Price: £19, 500 (EUR 19, 500), negotiable
