Description
Ferrari F355 Spider – 1996 – Manual gearbox –
History
This 1996 Ferrari F355 Spider is a third-owner car with a clear and particularly well-documented history. The first owner bought the car new in Turin and kept it for 11 years. The second owner took it on in 2007 and kept it for 9 years. The current owner has had the car for almost ten years and has never hesitated to spend what was needed on its maintenance and reliability upgrades.
The car has always been serviced by recognised marque specialists as well as various Ferrari workshops. A very substantial file of invoices accompanies the car, showing a serious and rigorous service history over many years. This Ferrari has always been in the hands of enthusiastic owners who respected and looked after it with great care.
It is supplied with all its original items, including the handbooks, service book, complete tool kit, spare keys and a GPS tracker. A set of photos detailing the engine rebuild is also provided on a USB stick.
Mechanical condition
The mechanical condition of this Ferrari F355 Spider is excellent. The engine was fully rebuilt in 2019 at 80, 000 km by WDB Engineering, giving a sound and reliable mechanical base. A complete service including the timing belt was carried out in November 2025 at BF Moteur, at 91, 478 km.
A particularly important point to highlight concerns the electronically adjusted suspension: the original plastic gears, known to be a weak point on the F355, have been replaced with metal gears, providing a complete and durable reliability fix for the system.
In general, all the well-known issues of the Ferrari F355 have been addressed by the current owner. Today the car shows 92, 400 km and is presented as a car that is perfectly ready to hit the road and cover any distance.
Interior condition
The interior is in very good overall condition considering the age of the car. The leather upholstery shows an attractive, even patina.
Slight wear is noted on the bolster of the driver's seatback, along with slight shrinkage of the leather on the dashboard, a well-known phenomenon on Ferraris of this generation. Aside from these points, the cabin is very sound and all the equipment works perfectly, including the electric seat adjustment.
The electric soft top operates perfectly, with a smooth mechanism and no faults, both when opening and closing.
Exterior condition
The bodywork is in very good overall condition. Some light signs of use can be seen, in keeping with the age and mileage of the car, without detracting from the overall presentation.
A Challenge grille comes with the livery.
