The Appeal
There are few classics with the enduring appeal of the R107. Back in the 70s and 80s, these remarkable, angular cars were a fusion of executive comfort, a bold retro silhouette and capable performance - all underlined by the best build quality in the business. It's little wonder they're still so favoured and continue picking up so much interest at auction.
This handsome Irish-registered example comes to us in fine order, with plenty of work having been recently undertaken - and it also features a particularly rare option - the small, lesser-spotted rear bench seat. It's a nicely specified example throughout, with the 3.5-litre V8 powerplant, hardtop and soft top. Now with only a few small bits of restoration left to carry out, this car is waiting for its lucky new owner to finish the job.
