The Appeal
The Skyline R33 is Nissan’s supercar. The factory spec models are excellent, but with this 1995 GTS-T, we’re quite frankly, a very long way from that. Much of the appeal of these cars lies in exploiting their potential, and this car has certainly done that.
The car you see is the result of a £60,000 makeover by Zealou5 to deliver a focused and highly capable track and road car. Beneath the bonnet is a forged RB25DET engine engine that has been dyno tested at 438bhp. The attention to detail is impressive - this is not a car that is purely about the stats, it’s designed to be capable on road and track.
The vendor acquired the car in 2019 and, as the history file shows, has expended considerable sums on the car and maintained it well. That is born out by the lengthy MOT valid to November 2026 with no advisories. It was last serviced around 97,722 or approximately 900-1000 miles ago. There are a few points to note in the photos, but as a car designed to be used and enjoyed, that shouldn’t alarm or surprise.
The vendor says:
“As you can see, the car has had no expense spared with the build and maintenance of the car. There is a lot of attention to detail paid to the car. All in all the car was extremely capable under my use and was beyond fun. I have no doubt any prospective owner can continue to enjoy the car going forward.”

The vendor says:
“Original owner who commissioned the build with Zealou5 acquired the car around 2012, and he was involved in the motorsport world; however, he sold the vehicle to become further involved in Renault Clio cup racing. Thus had a no-expense-spared approach to the vehicle, all documented. I acquired the vehicle in 2019 and enhanced the vehicle thereafter, predominant focus being mechanical condition/upgrades. Both under mine and the previous owner, the vehicle has been indoor stored.
“To note, since my recommission in 2019 and upgrades thereafter, only a handful of light track days were attended to, and the majority of mileage covered as road use to ensure it was not left idle. It was a fair weather car under my use. Since the original build of this car was commissioned, every invoice from Zealou5 and MGT Racing has remained with the car. Each invoice meticulously details the work carried out on the car; this naturally translates over to the quality of the overall car, down to the way each bolt has been marked upon line up. Approximately £60,000+ of expenditure has been carried out across the past 10 years alone, whether it be maintenance, upgrades or general build information. All documented.”

The vendor says:
“Structurally, the car is overall solid. The sills, chassis and strut towers are all in solid condition with careful preparation carried out by Bobby at Zealou5 (hopefully no introduction required!). As visible, the car benefits from an extensive high-end full-weld-in MSA spec cage built by Caged Laser (includes gusset door bars and roof bar). Furthermore, there have been some upgraded structural points introduced by both Zealou5 and Caged Laser to allow for quick jacking of the front wheels if required. From a cosmetic point of view, as to be expected with a track car and a car of its age, there are various age-related marks and signs of track use. Vehicle was resprayed in Ford diamond white by former keeper a number of years ago (vehicle previously silver / still visible in places), it suffices for intended purpose, but it is not show quality (it would not take much to resolve cosmetics if desired, new replacement fibreglass bumpers/ wings etc are inexpensively and readily available. A spare N1 Track bumper with diffuser included). Regardless car still holds a glossy finish/shine and works well with the near-new Rota Grids in hyper black. There are cosmetic signs to the vehicle which may or may not wish to be addressed by the buyer, but this was not deemed a major necessary concern by Bobby or Mark during its time of maintenance. Predominant focus is on mechanical and structural condition. Regardless, nothing particularly noteworthy for its intended use.
“The interior comprises an extensive high-end full-weld-in MSA spec cage built by Caged Laser (includes gusset door bars and roof bar). A pair of Cobra bucket seats and fitted, complemented by a pair of Willians Harnesses. A MOMO leather 350mm Steering wheel is fitted (with a short boss kit) alongside a MOMO sport gearknob. A full set of BLITZ 60mm Mirror gauges is fitted, including Oil Pressure, Oil Temperature, Water Temperature, and Boost gauge. Blitz Boost controller installed with pre-selected maps. Turbo timer also fitted. A Lifeline fire extinguisher is also fitted. The vehicle has an alarm/immobiliser fitted. Push button ignition (although can be easily reverted to key ignition) MSA scrutineering features also fitted, such as battery isolator kill switch. The Yuasa battery has been relocated to the rear with Zealous heat-shrunk cables and fittings. Factory instruments are in operational condition, and the switchgear works, although seldom used. Interior fans operate, and electric windows and electric mirrors are still installed. The car has undergone weight reduction with unnecessary carpets/interior trims removed.”

The vendor says:
“Car features a set of Blitz Mirror gauges with a recall function to aid user monitoring. The oil pressure on idle remains healthy and strong (approximately 6-7+ bar cold / 2-3+ bar warm). The car holds a steady water/oil temperature both on track and on the road; there are no issues with cooling (system is efficient, and the 15-row oil cooler performs well when required).
“Mechanically, it’s in very good condition. The engine was completely built to a forged specification by specialist motorsport engine builder Dave Yandell (DY engine services) and underwent an engine refresh by MGT Motorsport approx 5000 miles ago (all components remain in very good to excellent condition). Since undergoing the refresh, only a handful of light track days were attended, and the majority of mileage covered during fair weather as road use. An extensive major service using MOTUL fluids was also carried out during that time, and any ongoing maintenance in subsequent years was carried out by MGT only using MOTUL fluids. The most recent service carried out by Mark was at 97,720 miles.
“As expected, performance of the vehicle is excellent - it pulls extremely well through all gears. The car was tuned on MGT’s hub Dyno (Dynapack) by Garth, who set up the various maps on the HKS F-Con ECU. These maps are pre-set on the Blitz electronic boost controller accessible by a switch button. The car will ordinarily run its lowest boost setting (0. 8bar) and switching the controller on instantly accesses a higher boost setting (i. e to whatever is set - very handy for a committed overtake).
“DY / MGT have confirmed the engine is capable of running greater levels of boost (approx. 1.6 bar) and with further flow modifications / associated upgrades, tweak of the map, the engine will happily see over 5-600 at the wheels. I have not felt the need to do this, as the car in forged specification matched with the Borg Warner EFR 7670 turbo is extremely capable / fun under current specs, both on track and on road.
“Whilst the engine was undergoing a refresh, the 5-speed gearbox was refreshed as necessary; it shifts with no untoward noises.
“An upgraded Xtreme solid twin plate clutch has been fitted by MGT to hold the power. Very reasonable to drive with on the road.
“The suspension setup/handling of the car is fantastically direct. To note, the adjustable (including dampening) Daiyama suspension and other handling components (adjustable toe/ camber arms) all remain in very good condition. An array of bracing and superpro polybushing are featured throughout the vehicle to compliment the handling again with great success.
“A view of the underside of the chassis will not take any prospective buyer long to realise the extent of new, whether upgraded or OEM Nissan parts have been fitted to the car. Parts have also not seen much use since the vehicle was originally built and thus remain much in a similar condition!
“A Full Laser geometry alignment was last carried out for good fast road/track setup (MGT facilitated this). The car is superbly quick through the corners on track.
“The car also benefits from an ALCON front big brake upgrade kit complemented by upgraded GTR Brembo rear callipers, drilled discs and Ferodo DS2500 brake pads all round. Upgraded BM57 master cylinder ensures braking force is immediate. Zealou5 also took time to fit brake ducts to the front bumper directed towards the front brakes (no concerns of overheating).
“Near new semi-slick Yokohama Advan AD08RS tyres are fitted to the car. The grip complements the rest of the car’s setup very well.”
