The Appeal
Touring’s beautiful 2000 Spider is almost the definition of ‘la dolce vita,’ a beautiful two-seater that seems tailor-made for touring the corniches of the South of France or the winding roads of the Amalfi Coast.
These were coachbuilt, expensive cars and just 3,443 were built using the architecture of the 1900 model with an enlarged 2L version of the 4cyl engine.
This 1960 car is a particularly pretty example in ‘Bianco’ with a black interior. It presents very well thanks to a full respray. The interior is well kept and pleasingly original and unrestored. Under the bonnet is a rebuilt engine.
The vendor tells us that the car runs and drives well. It comes to market with the added reassurance of a lengthy Controle Technique valid to June 2026.
